Thank you to our golf sponsors!
The golf event is our main fundraising event of the year, and it’s held at the beautiful PGA golf course, TPC Deere Run, located in Silvis, Illinois.
Since 2018, ILA has been leading the way for statewide change and breakthrough in Lyme and other tick-borne diseases, and we could use your help to further our efforts.
Here are a few highlights of the work we've accomplished in just the last 12 months:
Collaborating with the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to create tick-borne disease awareness and prevention park posters and trail signs
Co-hosting the 2024 Tickborne Disease Medical Conference last fall in Champaign, IL
Partnering with First Choice Healthcare and MDL Labs for a Lyme disease screening at 3 locations in Henry & Stark County
Creating a Lyme Disease Awareness billboard at the Illinois State Fair that was viewed more than 3 million times
Providing community education at senior fairs, the Illinois Public Health Association’s annual conference, the Illinois Deer Classic, and more
Hosting the first-annual Virtual Awareness Week, where patients could share their stories with their legislators and advocate for stronger statewide resources
Partnering with JCC Chicago and Reel Abilities Chicago to bring The Quiet Epidemic, an award-winning, Lyme disease documentary, to the Chicago area free of charge to the public
Educating legislators on newly signed alpha-gal bill HB 1754, which requires the reporting of alpha-gal cases in Illinois
Hosting our first Northwestern University Master of Public Health student through the university’s APEx Program
Facilitating monthly patient educational and support group meeting
We’re so proud of the work we’ve done and the awareness we’re building in the state.
We hope you consider being one of our valued sponsors this year!
