Clinical Education for Healthcare Providers

Illinois Lyme Association (ILA) presents Foundations in Tickborne Diseases, a one-day Midwest Regional Medical Conference.

This year's event features the ILADS course, Vector-borne Illness Fundamentals, providing essential clinical education for healthcare professionals free of charge.

Our conference goal is to give regional healthcare providers up-to-date and actionable Lyme and tickborne disease education.

Healthcare providers can expect to receive education on the following topics:

  • pathophysiology of Lyme disease and persistent symptoms

  • introduction to coinfections, including bartonella, babesia, and alpha-gal.

  • psychiatric manifestations of Lyme disease

  • pediatric Lyme disease

Who can attend?
Open to the all healthcare providers, including physicians, physician associates, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and paramedics.
