2026 Advocacy Day - Illinois State Capitol

  • Illinois Lyme Association 2106 Southeast 3rd Street Aledo, IL, 61231 United States (map)

Please join the Illinois Lyme Association (ILA) and the Illinois Tick Policy Coalition (IL-TPC) on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, to raise awareness to our state legislators about Lyme and tick-borne disease in Illinois. We will have a table at the Capitol rotunda from 10:30am - 4:00pm to hand out educational materials and speak to legislators throughout the day. We will also be passing out informational sheets to all legislative offices. There is a lot of walking required. It is very important we keep Lyme and tick-borne diseases front and center. We have come so far in Illinois, but we have a long way to go. Please register below and join us at the Capitol for the day if you can. Please list your State Senator and State Representative in the registration text field below. This will help us connect you with your legislators when you are at the Capitol.

If you are unsure who your state legislators are you can use the following link to locate their names. State legislators. Put in your address in the upper left corner and search. It will then give a list of your elected officials. Scroll down to State Senator and State Representative.

Please complete the form below.

Under the “Do you know who your state senator and state representative are?” below. When you click “Yes, I do, a pop-up text box will appear. Please list your two legislator’s names and their district numbers in that text box. Thank you!
